SCHOOL BEIT YAACOV (“BEIT YAACOV”) knows how important it is to know and be secure about the use of your personal data. That is why we have taken the time to clarify and explain our Privacy Policy.


 

We recognize the need for appropriate protection and management of the personal information collected on our site, as well as that of our students, legal representatives, and visitors. This Privacy Policy will help you understand what types of information we may collect, how this information may be used, and with whom the information may be shared.


 
  • What Personal Information We Collect

The personal information we collect may be collected in the following ways:

Data inherent to the provision of our services: When a student’s legal guardian enrolls at BEIT YAACOV, we collect the necessary personal and sensitive data from minors and legal guardians for the purposes and fulfillment of the contract, educational activities, as well as compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.


 

Beit App: We make available to students, parents, legal guardians and teachers the Beit App, an application for smartphones that provides photos, calendar, news, reminders and personalized communications related to the activities of BEIT YAACOV. For registration, the following personal data is collected: full name, CPF, e-mail of the legal guardian, and the name of the student. Access to a student’s or user’s information is private and only released using the e-mail and password registered with BEIT YAACOV.


 

Visiting form: We collect personal data from parents and students who are interested in joining BEIT YAACOV by filling out an on-line form. The following personal data is collected: e-mail, parents’ full names, CPF, RG, cell phone, home address, license plate number and car model for clearance at the entrance to BEIT YAACOV, as well as the full name, date of birth and school record of the students entering.


 

International Education Programs: We share with our partners for international education programs the following personal data of our students: name, ID and RA, as well as exams and grades. Such processing of personal data is solely to make it possible to offer such partnerships to our students.


 

Cookies: Personal data may be collected using cookies. For more information, see our Cookies Policy


 

Access to physical facilities: We collect personal data from any and all persons who access BEIT YAACOV’s facilities, through temporary (in the case of occasional visitors) or permanent (students and legal guardians) registration. If the entrance to our facilities is made by means of motor vehicles, data such as make, model and license plate number will be collected.


 

Internal security camera monitoring: images and recordings of our students, legal guardians, visitors and employees are collected in our facilities to ensure the protection of life or physical safety.


 

Children and adolescents: the treatment of personal data of children and adolescents is carried out in their best interest, in the terms of art. 14 of Law 13.709/2018 and other legislation pertinent to this specific public.


 

Employees: We collect personal data from our employees and job applicants. This data is necessary for the execution of the employment contract, to register the employee and to comply with labor legislation.


 

Personal data will be collected to access the area of the site reserved for BEIT YAACOV employees, under the “employees” tab.

BEIT YAACOV also uses Social Media to communicate and interact with its customers and other stakeholders through third-party websites such as Facebook, Instagram or Linkedin. These third-party Websites are an Internet-based technology that is not operated or controlled by BEIT YAACOV. Manage employee benefits It is justified on the basis of the execution of the employment contract between BEIT YAACOV and its employees.

Collection of health data, considered sensitive personal data, from children and adolescents. With the authorization of the legal guardian, we collect health data from children and adolescents for emergency care and possible health or dietary restrictions. For the same purpose, this information will be updated frequently.

         

We only rely on our legitimate interest for specific purposes. These personal data processing do not in any way override the interests, rights and freedoms of the Personal Data Subjects.


  • About sharing and cession of information

 

BEIT YAACOV does not have the practice of disclosing information that can identify the user and will never share, sell or rent information or personal data to third parties. This data is for the exclusive internal use of the company to achieve the purposes expressed in the previous item.

  • Upon court order or request by government inspection agencies.

BEIT YAACOV will always evaluate the best way to comply with your request to exercise any of your rights. However, BEIT YAACOV may not fulfill your request, totally or partially, in specific situations protected by law, such as, for example, to comply with a legal obligation or a contract it has with you.

 

We stress the importance of keeping your personal data accurate and up to date. Therefore, keep BEIT YAACOV always informed if your personal data change or are incorrect.


 

For security reasons, for requests made via e-mail privacidade@beityaacov.com.br, the request will be answered when we are sure of the user’s identity. Therefore, we may request additional data or information to confirm the identity and authenticity of the Card Holder. This data and information will be protected during the storage period, and will be eliminated as soon as the purpose of confirming the Card Holder’s identity has been exhausted.


 
  • Treatment Term

 

This Privacy Policy applies to the above circumstances for as long as BEIT YAACOV stores your personal data. We store and maintain your information: (a) for as long as required by law; (b) until the termination of the processing of personal data as mentioned below; or (c) for as long as necessary to preserve the legitimate interest of BEIT YAACOV.
